About the Role:

As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes that meet the culinary standards and aesthetic expectations of our establishment. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the freshness, taste, and visual appeal of each dish, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the restaurant's reputation. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficient workflow in the sushi preparation area. This position requires a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary sushi techniques.  Ultimately, your expertise will help create an exceptional dining experience that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sushi chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine.
  • Strong knife handling skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques.
  • Ability to interpret instructions accurately and follow recipes precisely.
  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions safely and efficiently.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
