Sushi Roller

Location: Garage Grill Herriman
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience ($17-20 per hour DOE) *This is not a tipped position.

About the Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Sushi Roller to join our kitchen team! The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing beautiful, consistent food while maintaining a clean, organized, and fast-paced work environment.

Previous sushi experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong kitchen skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi rolls, appetizers, and other menu items according to recipe and presentation standards
  • Properly portion, cut, and prepare ingredients
  • Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, portion size, and presentation
  • Keep the sushi station clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
  • Properly store and rotate food products
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and management team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout each shift
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Previous sushi or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
