Surveyor 1 or Surveyor 2, PN 20051848 District 3 Ashland County

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications. 

What You Will Do:

         You will work alongside ODOT professional surveyors & engineers.

         You will receive training in operation & maintenance of survey instruments.

         You will receive hands-on transportation training & experience needed to further your career as a surveyor with ODOT.

         You will conduct survey projects under the direction of a licensed surveyor & assist project surveyor or engineer on projects.

Surveyor 1:

Bachelor's degree; valid driver's license; working towards obtaining the required semester hours of surveying courses that meets the NCEES Surveying Education Standard as approved by the Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors. 
-Or accepted for Fundamental of Surveying examination (F.S) by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; valid driver's license. 

Surveyor 2:

Valid certificate of Surveyor Intern issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 months experience as Surveyor 1, 85561; valid driver's license.

-OR  Valid certificate as Surveyor Intern issued or accepted as equivalent by the Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors & 12 months experience surveying-related experience; valid driver's license.
