Overview

Are you an innovative leader with expert knowledge of land mapping and technical survey instrument techniques? As a Survey Manager, you who will oversee survey teams of one or more project sites, providing technical input regarding engineering standards, specifications, design instructions and land mapping. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to contribute to deliver exceptional results.

This is a full-time position supporting an Advanced Technology project, which includes out Data Center market segments.

What you will be doing
  • Provides work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff
  • Ensures that crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
  • Checks as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
  • Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
  • Assists with conducting quantity calculations as required.
  • Monitors and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.
  • Coordinates survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet the construction requirements.
  • Manages survey department resources and department assigned budget.
What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in survey or land mapping required.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Expert knowledge of land mapping and technical survey instrument techniques.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
