What You'll Do
As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting safe, efficient surgical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Establishing and maintaining sterile technique throughout each procedure
  • Anticipating the needs of surgeons and passing instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently during surgery
  • Assisting with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer while promoting patient safety
  • Performing surgical counts and assisting with quality and safety protocols
  • Cleaning, restocking, and preparing operating rooms between procedures
  • Following infection prevention practices, AORN standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and perioperative staff to deliver exceptional surgical care
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting efficient Operating Room workflow

What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred
  • Current BLS Certification required (or ability to obtain within department guidelines)
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous Operating Room or surgical experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced surgical environment
