Scheduling Coordinator

Full Time| Reno, NV | This is an in-office position.


Northern Nevada Oral Surgery is seeking a warm, organized, and detail-driven treatment Coordinator to be the welcoming face and steady hand of our oral surgery practice. If you love helping people feel calm and cared for during a procedure that can be nerve-wracking, and you thrive on keeping a busy front office running smoothly, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Greet patients and create a calm, reassuring first impression from check-in to checkout
  • Coordinate surgical scheduling, pre-op instructions, and post-op follow-ups
  • Verify insurance benefits, explain treatment costs, and set up payment plans
  • Communicate with referring dentists and specialists to keep treatment plans on track
  • Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation
  • Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and triage urgent concerns
  • Answer emails, respond to our referring offices in a clear and precise manner    
  • Support the surgical team with administrative needs throughout the day

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a dental, oral surgery, or medical office setting (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine, patient-first attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with dental/medical terminology is ideal
