Job description

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Medical Director to lead a collaborative, clinician-driven team at a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center. This role offers the opportunity to shape care delivery, support team development, and foster a collegial environment that values excellence, growth, and balance. The position comes with a top compensation package and attractive case mix.

Practice Info

  • Multi-specialty outpatient surgery center site
  • Same Day Surgery
  • Case mix: GI/Endo- 4,800 cases annually, Surgical- 4,600 cases annually, including General, Ortho, Uro, Plastics, etc.
  • MD capable of managing up to 6-7 rooms daily; typically, 3-4 ORs and 2-3 GI rooms in a hybrid Medical Direction / CRNA Independent practice model

Responsibilities

  • Lead a collaborative, clinician-driven team
  • Shape care delivery
  • Support team development
  • Ensure a thriving, collegial environment that values excellence, growth, and balance
  • Participate in ASC management meetings and administrative work as needed, including policy development, quality reviews, etc.

Compensation

  • $600K package
  • Commencement Bonus $50,000 for 2-year commitment
  • CME - Up to $3,000
  • Referral bonus of up to $5,000 if they are hired
