Support Engineering Data Specialist (Support Engineering Data)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist for Oklahoma City, OK.

This role will focus on developing and maintaining comprehensive technical data and documentation to support aircraft systems and equipment throughout their lifecycle. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to evaluate support requirements, formulate logistics recommendations, and develop maintenance tasks and resource plans that ensure effective sustainment. By analyzing engineering designs and identifying supportability gaps, this position helps drive solutions that enhance operational readiness and meet customer needs. Leads development, analysis, collection, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and make recommendations. Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for all equipment subsystems and multiple platforms. Identifies, analyzes, and reviews logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. Completes spares provisioning requirements analysis of spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under multiple contract types. Leads technical documentation preparation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. Reviews and leads evaluation of aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability and provides recommendations for single or multiple airline customers, single or multiple aircraft model and system specialties.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Oklahoma City, OK facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Logistics Engineering (LE) team for the 767 International Tankers.

  • Assign work tasks, coordinate with the Logistics Engineering supervisor, program leadership, planning and execution of the LE team to support program requirements.

  • Support daily program standup meetings.

  • Support service directives meetings with program and customer.

  • Review and process engineering changes through CMPRO with signature approval as needed.

  • VECTOR Administrator for 767 International Tankers.

  • Service directive processing and deliverables.

  • Develops, analyzes, and maintains system support technical data, specifications, and related documentation to evaluate support requirements and support recommendations.

  • Provides product supportability recommendations and develops operational maintenance tasks, resource requirements, and support systems for assigned equipment subsystems.

  • Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition data and develops logistics support analysis records, reports, and supportability data.

  • Determines spares provisioning requirements, including spare and replacement parts, stocking levels, and support requirements for assigned customers and contract types.

  • Develops technical documentation for the operation, testing, and maintenance of aircraft systems and components.

  • Evaluates engineering designs for supportability across multiple equipment subsystems and validates compliance with established supportability criteria.

  • Identifies supportability gaps, initiates resolution activities, and assists in developing recommendations to achieve support objectives.

  • Analyzes and develops preliminary maintenance tasking, repair level analysis, scheduled maintenance programs, and related resource requirements.

  • Develops and maintains technical publication elements for new and fielded major equipment systems and multiple subsystems.

  • Participates in and may conduct customer technical and program reviews to communicate supportability requirements, status, and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve Integrated Logistics Support solutions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.

  • 10+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle.

  • Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience.

  • Project or Program Experience

  • EVM/CAM Experience.

  • Familiar with S1000D standards and formats.

  • Understanding of how to read and interpret engineering drawing and models.
