Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Position Summary
The Shop Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the service departments by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This position exists to maximize technician productivity by eliminating non-billable interruptions while ensuring our facilities remain safe, professional, and inspection-ready.
The Shop Operations Coordinator is an extension of the service management team and plays a critical role in supporting our technicians, improving efficiency, and enhancing the guest experience.
Position Responsibilities
The Shop Support Coordinator will:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready service department throughout the day.
  • Keep service drives, work areas, and common spaces clean and professional.
  • Deliver parts, supplies, and materials to technicians to minimize downtime.
  • Return cores and warranty parts while assisting with parts organization.
  • Restock shop supplies, fluids, and other essential materials.
  • Move guest and dealership vehicles safely throughout the property.
  • Organize storage areas, tool rooms, and other shop spaces.
  • Remove trash, recycling, scrap materials, and shop debris before they accumulate.
  • Respond quickly to manager and technician requests to help improve shop efficiency.
  • Support a safe work environment by cleaning spills promptly and keeping walkways clear.
  • Assist with special projects and other operational needs as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous automotive, warehouse, shop, or labor experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic with a dependable attendance record.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull throughout the day.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
