YOU WILL BE:

As the Associate Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and buying teams during pre and in-season planning processes. They will work closely with the Planner to achieve sales and profit objectives for merchandise category/categories, working in conjunction with one or more buying teams.

The Associate Planner will support Planner with development and successful execution of topside financial plans, assortment and buy plans. The Associate Planner will also support the buying team with Open to Buy (OTB), receipt management, market prep, and ad hoc merchandise analysis.

YOU WILL DO:

  • Supports Planner in developing pre-season sales, profit and inventory targets and identifies opportunities and liabilities in season

  • Manages and maintains daily and weekly reports for the merchant team

  • Supports Planner to manage monthly OTB forecasts and presentation

  • Builds relationships with vendors to align on business goals/needs

  • Work effectively with buying, planning, and store allocation teams

  • Regularly analyze business at vendor, product category, and classification level and make recommendations to drive the business

  • Owns pre-market buy recommendations related to style breadth and unit depth by vendor and channel

  • Take on progressively increased responsibility and ownership of a piece of the business as you progress in your Associate role.

  • Familiar with Merchandise systems
