Job Description:Our client is a fast-growing AI-driven startup building infrastructure to support next-generation AI and agent-based systems. They are seeking a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen the cloud, security, and operational foundations supporting their AI initiatives. This role focuses on infrastructure, automation, and distributed systems rather than feature development, partnering closely with engineering leadership on architecture and scalability.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Support AI and agent-based initiatives across the organization
  • Build and improve infrastructure supporting AI systems and agent frameworks
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure
  • Support DevOps initiatives including deployment pipelines, automation, monitoring, and reliability
  • Help establish security, governance, and operational best practices around AI systems
  • Work with Kubernetes and distributed computing environments
  • Automate operational and infrastructure workflows using AI where applicable
  • Partner with engineering leadership on architecture, scalability, and security initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong DevOps and/or Security Engineering background
  • Deep AWS or GCP experience
  • Strong Kubernetes experience
  • Distributed computing experience
  • Python experience
  • Startup experience
  • Experience supporting systems at scale
  • Experience leveraging AI to automate workflows and processes
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to work beyond AI-assisted development and understand underlying systems
