Job Summary:
Iron Systems, Inc is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer L1 to provide support for desktop computers and peripheral equipment. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, while also offering VIP support and maintaining IT inventory.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.
โ€ข Hardware/software troubleshooting and resolution
โ€ข Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets, and support mobile phones and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers.
โ€ข Offer VIP support with tailored, high-touch service and manage audio-visual, conferencing, and technologies
โ€ข Network & Sharing printer installation
โ€ข Knowledge of Office 365 support
โ€ข Coverage/compliance software installation and troubleshooting
โ€ข Good communication skills
โ€ข Good knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
โ€ข Maintain IT inventory, coordinate vendor support, and assist with procurement
โ€ข Support Mac devices
โ€ข Strictly adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAโ€™s)
โ€ข Support recurring meetings, events, and after-hours activities as required
โ€ข Documenting incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference and for the knowledge base
