Pay Rate: $24.50/Hour
Employment Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available

About Us: Coastline Services is dedicated to providing exceptional support to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Santa Barbara County. Our services are funded through Tri-Counties Regional Center for Supported Living Services. We strive to promote independence, skill development, and community integration for the individuals we support.

Available Schedules:

  • Sundays-Thursdays 9:00am-5:00pm (full-time)
  • Mondays-Fridays 8:30am-1:00pm (part-time)
  • Saturdays 3:00pm-11:00pm (part-time)
  • Thursdays, Thursdays, Saturdays 9:00am-9:00pm (full-time)

Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid California Driverโ€™s License, current automobile insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to/from work and throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Clean DMV driving history report.
  • Negative alcohol/drug screening in accordance with California law.
  • Clears and maintains Department of Justice background clearance.

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Coaches. As a Support Coach, you will play a crucial role in assisting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Position Responsibilities May Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Provides support, training, teaching, and empowerment for skill building, maintaining learned skills, and meeting individualized goals using a person-centered approach.
  • Medication support, including training, reminders, refills, pharmacy pick-up/drop-off, medication changes, documentation, and communication.
  • Creating meaningful schedules, promoting important activities for the person served, attending classes/events/activities, and creating community connections.
  • Money management training and support, including creating/implementing financial budgets, paying bills, banking, and checking mail.
  • Health and wellness support, including personal hygiene/grooming, promoting dignity and respect, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, cleaning, organizing, and following behavioral intervention plans.
  • Overnight support to ensure health, safety, and stability, including awake support during awake hours and sleep support when the person served is asleep.
  • Documentation and deadlines, including completing daily shift notes, clocking in/out of shifts, tracking goals, communicating information, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Training and professionalism, including training new employees, attending and leading trainings and meetings, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a positive attitude.
