Job description

Most financial advisor posts sound the same.

They talk about upside opportunity, training, income potential, and making an impact. That all matters, but here is what matters more:

Do you actually have the platform, leadership, support, and environment to build a real practice that you own?

At TruOak Financial Partners, we are a holistic financial firm focused on all aspects of wealth management, including insurance, investments, retirement strategies, estate planning, and advanced financial concepts. We do not want advisors who only understand one lane of the business. We want you to master the industry, not just participate in it.

Our platform is built for advisors who want depth, growth, and real upside. Eligible advisors may have access to annuity payout opportunities up to 5%, depending on product, contract, and qualifications, making this one of the most competitive annuity opportunities available.

This is a hybrid Atlanta opportunity with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), firm events, performance celebrations, and four agency-paid trips per year, including two international trips.

This is for someone who wants to build a client base, grow a personal brand, earn based on performance, and create a long-term advisory practice they are proud of. You will not be handed a book of business. You will be trained, coached, challenged, and supported while you build one. 30+ advisors have joined TruOak this year because they wanted something different: more autonomy, better support, stronger leadership, and a firm that does not treat them like a number.

If you are looking for a safe desk job, this probably is not it.

If you are looking for a place where your effort, relationships, discipline, and ambition can turn into a real business, this is worth a conversation.

Compensation:

$95,000 - $123,000 at plan commission per year

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, seek, and establish prospects continuously and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor
  • Synthesize and present financial recommendations and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives
  • Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, mutual funds, savings plans, and other financial products

Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field
  • Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial
  • Previous success in financial services as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is needed

You may be a strong fit if you are:

  • Comfortable with business development, networking, and client acquisition
  • Motivated by income upside tied to performance
  • Interested in building a long-term career, not just finding another job
  • Life Health Insurance license required, support available if in process
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 preferred, required within the first year if not currently held
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a green card holder
  • A strong communicator with the confidence to meet new people and build trust

Backgrounds that often translate well include sales, business development, real estate, mortgage, banking, insurance, athletics, military leadership, or prior financial services experience.
