Job description

The Company:
Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. We’re wondering “what if...” anticipating what’s next and embracing our role within the Czarnowski Collective as forward-thinkers for forward-thinking brands.

Joining the Czarnowski Collective means the opportunity to be more than a number, more than a job title, more than a spectator. We are a collective of dreamers and thinkers, doers, and makers…and we’re searching for more of the same to join the ranks.

The Purpose:
We are seeking an exceptional Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects surrounding the delivery of Czarnowski’s customer marketing programs. You will work closely with Account Directors to maintain strong client relationships while managing the tactical aspects of project deliverables, on time and on budget, utilizing the full breadth of our remarkable technical and execution resources. As an Account Manager at Czarnowski, your role is integral to the overall success of our client’s marketing programs.
As the primary point person, you will oversee every facet, from creative development to production oversight, logistics coordination, vendor management and collaboration with the entire Czarnowski network in support of our customers. Your attention to detail and organizational prowess will ensure the seamless execution of each event!

The Job:

  •  Serve as the primary point of contact between Czarnowski and our customers for all project deliverables.

  •  Engage and communicate with appropriate estimating teams and support services – includes creating show services specific estimates and reformatting existing estimates.
  • Develop timelines, schedules, and project plans, communicating action items to project teams and monitoring adherence to deadlines.
  • Possess strong operational knowledge of Czarnowski systems, tools and processes related to project workflow to manage workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Czarnowski operational departments and personnel to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Work closely with on-site field teams to manage required show services and schedule installation and dismantle labor for your projects.
  •  Observe and maintain deadlines, prioritize workload, and operate with pre-determined project time constraints.
  •  Manage approval processes and ensure all solutions comply with show-specific rules and regulations.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing project related issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate resolutions.
  • Respond promptly to all internal and client related communications, at minimum, acknowledging receipt within 24 hours.

Financial Responsibilities:

  •  Assist with forecasting client financial activity with Czarnowski on a 12-month rolling calendar.
  •  Maintain and update project information, including financials, within Czarnowski systems.
  • Manage project change orders, ensuring cost related approvals are documented and communicated with relevant stakeholders.
  •  Review and reconcile estimated costs with actual incurred costs, providing detailed reports to project team along with recommendations for proposed invoice amounts.
  • Maintain and ensure target profit margins, evaluated per project and on an annual basis.
  • Review, recommend and implement estimating adjustments to recurring projects based on historical (incurred) financial data to maintain target profit margins
  •  Review all estimates and invoice drafts for accuracy prior to submitting to customers.
  •  Understand client specified billing procedures and AP/Procurement specific client contacts to submit invoices and resolve unpaid invoices in a timely manner

The Person:

  • Passionate about working with people, ability to quickly develop a rapport with customers.

  •  Experience in working with large, multi-faceted teams in a leadership and/or supporting role.
  •  Demonstrated ability to interpret complex, often conflicting information, reorganize and distribute to appropriate teams clearly in written and verbal formats.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent of relevant work experience.

What we offer:
