As a Global Supply Chain Program Manager 1, located in Boulder, CO, you'll be a key contributor to missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

The GSC PM 1 will support day-to-day supply chain, subcontract execution, and capture activities in support of the Advanced Mission and Space Processing (AMSP) Operating Unit (OU). This position reports to the AMSP OU Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain and will be required to be in-office regularly.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports GSC activities across program phases, ensuring consistency in GSC processes across all GSC disciplines

  • Assists with GSC cross-functional coordination between key engineering, logistics, mission assurance, program, and supply chain stakeholders

  • Reviews change board packages and identifies potential supply chain-related impacts for resolution by senior staff

  • Supports development of Program Supply Chain performance scores, return-to-green plans, and risks/opportunities

  • Applies analytical thinking to support solutions to supply chain problems, escalating process and performance challenges to the GSC PM and Program Leadership

  • Assists in preparing program-level leadership briefings on supply chain status

  • Manages Subcontract and Material financial forecasting for a variety of programs

  • Responsible for schedules and on-time delivery of all program material

This position will attend program meetings and supplier visits and may be required to present to groups. Must be able to work independently and have strong organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain

  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain management techniques and methods

  • Basic knowledge of SAP

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborate with peers and stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to subcontract management activities including pre- and post-award support

  • Ability to independently lead capture activities

  • Familiarity with supplier financial reporting, scheduling, or forecasting

  • Knowledge of supply chain management practices, including Firm Fixed Price or Other Transaction Agreement purchase orders

Primary Level Salary Range: $121,000.00 - $181,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
