Job Summary:
Provide strategic direction and manage procurement activities and staff for assigned set of stakeholders or item categories. Provide influence of spend value and cost savings for the company and cross-functional partners. Create and implement procurement strategies. Lead and coach through change management activities both within the department and with cross-functional stakeholders. Drive results through objective metrics and internal scorecards to ensure staff is strategically and tactically executing strategies, projects, and tactical delivery of needed results. Work closely with Procurement Leadership and peer Managers to improve overall department efficiency and results.
Essential Functions:

  • Leads and implements the required training of team members and ensures adherence to all policies, procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Leads and implements career planning and personal development and ensures annual performance reviews are effective and completed on time.

Procurement Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team which provides significant value.
  • Areas of influence of spend may include IT, MRO, Travel, Marketing, Winemaking support, Freight, and all areas of non-wine packaging items and services.
  • Create and measure monthly/yearly goals and objectives including cost savings, influence of spend, and supplier performance.
  • Create and execute procurement strategies based on company goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and key negotiations for supplier contracts.
  • Participate in applicable capital equipment needs. Negotiate contracts and ensure all commercial terms and legal aspects meet the required needs of TFE.
  • Provide leadership of all innovation and cost savings initiatives and projects.

Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Coach and manage team of people on a day-to-day basis. Lead staff and cross-functional meetings. Create vision and goals to drive change and department/individual goal attainment.
  • Adherence across the company to all procurement policies, procedures, and governmental regulations including Safe Quality Food Certifications.
  • IT tools and systems leadership. Use appropriate tools to improve ease of doing business with procurement and system integration with suppliers

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Business, or Management or equivalent experience required. MBA preferred.
  • Years of Experience: 5-10 years of indirect strategic procurement experience. Five years experience in procurement or supply chain leadership positions preferred.
  • APICS, CPSM, or Six Sigma certifications a plus
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Abilties to create and maintain cross-functional partnerships on a daily basis
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, SAP, MRP, AP systems, CMS, and MS Project
  • Must be able to work to meet deadlines on multiple tasks at any one time
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and training skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, observational skills, documentation skills, and follow-through

Salary Range: $107,400.00 - $199,400.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
