Job description

This is an on-site, hybrid role based out of Rosemont, IL or Milwaukee, WI.
The Supply Chain Program Manager is responsible for driving consistent and effective utilization of ERP systems across manufacturing plants and supply chain functions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to improve planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory performance, and supplier execution. The role requires significant travel to educate, coach, and align schedulers and buyer/planners while ensuring standardized processes and strong communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead training and problem-solving initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and purchasing across North American plants, with potential global scope.
  • Drive consistent ERP utilization and adherence to standard processes across sites.
  • Identify process gaps, inconsistent ERP use, and data misalignment; coordinate corrective actions.
  • Develop standard work that will help to improve forecast-driven planning, production scheduling, inventory turns, and service levels.
  • Partner with site teams to optimize inventory levels and safety stock strategies, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and material availability and production readiness.
  • Monitor KPIs related to planning accuracy, inventory health, and on-time delivery.
  • Drive discipline that supports improvements in supplier on-time delivery, lead time performance, and material availability.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and purchasing teams to align ERP parameters with supplier agreements and operational realities.
  • Ensure buyers and planners are effectively using ERP tools for purchasing execution and supplier communication.
  • Travel to manufacturing plants to train, coach, and support schedulers and buyer/planners.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, standard work, and best practices.
  • Act as a change agent to reinforce disciplined planning and execution behaviors.
  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving to resolve material, capacity, and service issues.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with clear scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track progress, risks, and outcomes; provide executive-level reporting.
  • Ensure initiatives deliver measurable improvements in performance and consistency.
  • Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree Required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain role with experience in ERP systems (planning, scheduling, purchasing) and manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Strong background in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and purchasing and supplier performance
  • Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, performing effectively under pressure and strict deadlines, and prioritizing tasks as required
  • Ability to support multifaced business requirements established by each Segment. Comfortable working in a results-oriented environment with broad base of business requirements
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Travel

Approximately 30% travel, including U.S., Mexico, Canada, and occasional global travel.

Compensation Details

Annual base salary range: $130,000 - $170,000

*The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.*

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
