The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for balancing customer demand, production planning, and material supply to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role coordinates across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels and service performance.

Responsibilities Include Demand & Forecast Alignment
  • Analyze demand forecasts and historical trends
  • Collaborate with sales and demand planning to validate forecasts
  • Identify risks (shortages, excess inventory, seasonality)
Production & Build Planning
  • Develop and maintain production schedules
  • Align manufacturing capacity with demand requirements
  • Coordinate with operations on constraints and priorities
Supply Materials Planning
  • Plan and release purchase orders for raw materials/components
  • Manage supplier schedules and lead times
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust safety stock as needed
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and finance
  • Support S&OP / SIOP processes
  • Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans
