Supply Chain Administrator

The Opportunity:

As a Supply Chain Administrator, you willassista team of procurement professionals bysupportinga portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements. You will balance multiple priorities to help our clients address both their current and emerging needs effectively.Theseobjectiveswill be accomplished through close collaboration with internal teams, efficient facilitation of information flow across the supply chain, and the development of strong relationships with suppliers. You willhelpensure that sourcing requirements are met promptly and to the highest standards whileassistinginnegotiating favorable terms to guarantee the timely delivery of quality materials and services. Additionally, you will work to address any issues that may arise during the contracting lifecycle, ensuring that procurement activitiesremaincost-effective and fully compliant with our approved business systems.

What You'll Work On:

  • Support procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Work toperformance expectations andobjectivessupportingalignment with the market account managers' overall business strategies.

  • Collaboratecross-functionally and withsuppliers to manage inventory levels thatoptimizeavailability while minimizing costs.

  • Helpidentifypotential risks within the supply chain andparticipatein the development ofstrategies to mitigate those risks.

  • Provide business advice and counselon subcontract or direct procurement matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflicts of interest, and risk management and mitigation.

  • Proactively collaborateacross the teamto address any issues that may arise during theprocurement lifecycle.

  • Ensure that all procurement activitiescomply withrelevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

  • Work with a group of administrators to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Work with the Supply Chain Managers to helpidentifyand support opportunities to provide guidance, advice, support, and knowledge to less experienced administrators and technical staff.

  • Analyze your portfolio toidentifyopportunities for improvement and innovation to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Work with market and supply chain leadership tosupportdata analytics and forecasting tools and techniques toanticipatecustomer demands, navigate through industry disruptors, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Establish andmaintainstrong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Supporta portfolio of procurement requirements andcollaboratewith vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.

  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns proactively to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Prepare and present regular reports toteam leadershipon procurement performance, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and market trends.

  • Utilize insights from data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement in procurement practices.

You Have:

  • Experienceinsubcontractsor purchasing

  • Experience in procurement or subcontract management, includingsupportingproposals, supplierselection, or subcontract administration

  • Experience working with suppliers and their sub-tiers with productand servicedelivery

  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools such as ERP systems or e-procurement platforms

  • Knowledge of contract management software and tools

  • Ability to function independently as a self-starterand manage work efficiently

  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
