Supply Chain's vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.



In this role offers you the following daily challenges:


Own overall responsibility for supply chain as the single point of contact on the Dark Eagle - Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) Program Director's staff. This includes responsibility for all the program's subcontracted efforts as well as oversight of the LM central procurement efforts ensuring all program requirements and needs dependent upon the supply chain are met.
Own supply chain performance reporting rhythms to program leadership and drive improvements in the program's ability to proactively drive supplier management and risk mitigation
Responsible for managing >$260M in total supply chain contract value including two Category 1 major critical subcontractors (launcher platforms), several Category 2/3 minor subcontractors (CCAs, cable/harnessing, mechanical assemblies) and dozens of Category 4/5 procurement level suppliers
Engaging with program leadership driving improvements in supply chain strategy including identifying new qualified sources to replace struggling performers
Partnering with program functions ensuring suppliers are managed to the highest performance standards and that commitments, requirements, and program needs are met
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate prime contract flow downs as well as purchase order compliance to LMAP and CAP
Responsibility for executing contract actions from AR/PR to definitized purchase order as well as partnering with material planning, production operations, and engineering to improve execution of these processes
Personnel leadership and staffing responsibilities for the organization including a subcontracts leader, senior subcontract program managers (SPMs), subcontract managers (SCMs), and subcontract administrators
Attracting, developing, retaining subcontract management and subcontract administration talent to continually improve the team's performance
Mentoring, coaching, and advising subordinates in their professional development


This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL , and be expected to work in the office.
