Supply Chain Demand Planners are professionals responsible for forecasting customer demand to ensure that companies have the right amount of inventory at the right time. They analyze market trends, sales data, and historical patterns to predict future needs and help optimize supply chain operations. Their role is crucial for minimizing stockouts and overstock situations, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing costs. Demand Planners often collaborate closely with sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams to develop accurate forecasts and efficient supply plans.

Familiarity with demand planning software such as SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or Kinaxis, alongside advanced Excel skills, is typically required. REPORTING, ANALYSIS & KPI TRACKING ▪ Prepare regular demand planning reports and dashboards using SAP and planning tools. ▪ Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and other relevant demand planning KPIs. ▪ Perform root‑cause analysis of forecast deviations and support corrective and preventive actions. ▪ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing forecast reliability and planning efficiency. Education/Certification: ▪ Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Knowledge Required: Must have 2-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role. ▪ Hands‑on experience with SAP demand planning solutions (IBP, APO, or equivalent). ▪ Solid understanding of S&OP / IBP processes and cross‑functional planning dynamics.
