Job description

I. Job Summary
As a Global Supply Chain Manager, he or she will manage efficient supply operations to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfaction while meeting overall business requirements. The responsibility extends to driving and achieving business & financial results for the products/programs. Responsibilities include implementing, monitoring and maintaining supply chain management process/strategies to deliver products to meet or exceed customers' need. The Global Supply Chain Manager will focus on managing programs and/or products supplies through coordination of various internal/external functional groups among CN/VN/MX. This requires confidence in implementing complex project schedules and meeting deadlines and deliverables within a structured Time to Market process. Ultimately, Global Supply Chain Manager will be the end-to-end owner of the supply chain account he or she manages.
 
  1. Essential Functions
 
    1. Performs weekly updates for continuity of supply & mitigation of risk to customer.
    2. Develops/Implement/Maintain supply chain management process/strategy to increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations
    3. Develops Customer and Partner Relationship and/or Sponsorship
    4. Performs forecast/capacity/inventory trend Analysis
    5. Understands manufacturing supply chain processes and requirements for cost analysis
    6. Communicates and resolves any supply chain issues between factories and customers
    7. Exercises overall ownership of the managed accounts.
    8. Be the bridge among customers and Factory, R&D, Supports, Suppliers etc.
    9. Oversee production/delivery schedules to meet customer requirements
    10. Ensure customer satisfaction with timely deliveries
    11. Perform other duties as assigned

  1. Required Qualifications
 
    1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, information technology, marketing, or related field
    2. 3-5 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, business, or technical field
    3. Must be able to travel 3-4 times a year for 3-4 weeks at a time to Mexico/Asia
    1. Excellent reading, writing, and verbal skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
    2. Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
    3. Supply Chain experience in PC/Server manufacturing
    4. Understands technology trends
    5. Detail oriented with superb time management, organizational and execution skills to meet deadlines. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Proactive professional with a lot of patience
    7. High level of flexibility, discretion, professionalism, and integrity
    8. Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills
    9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening, and interpersonal skills
    10. Proven ability to work both collaboratively on a team as well as independently on multiple high-priority projects

III. Preferred Qualifications
 
    1. MS or MBA degree
