Consumer PC Supply Chain Account Manager
Description -
HP is a leading manufacturer of consumer PCs - notebook, desktops and monitors - sold in the US. The industry is ultra-competitive and the landscape (both in terms of products and competitors) is ever evolving. The U.S. Consumer PC Account Planning team is looking for a hands-on supply chain manager who will be the HP operations interface with some of our U.S. retailers and provide leadership among Planning, Logistic, Order Management and Product Marketing to forecast and execute a supply plan to support customers' product requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage supply chain processes that support supply/demand matching activities, inventory management and demand fulfilment for HP Consumer notebook, desktop and monitor categories with major retail accounts.
  • Collaborate with resellers to set mutually beneficial goals to manage the business categories and ensure both HP and the reseller operate according to these parameters Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR).
  • Work closely with HP Consumer Channel Marketing and Sales team as the supply chain expert for specific retail account teams.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and is an advocate for the accounts by providing feedback on the state of the business and HP's supply chain to ensure the right business decisions are made in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement supply chain programs and/or lead implementation of supporting operational activities with the account relating to the business categories. This involves partnering with internal and external resources to accomplish program goals.
  • Manages quantitative and qualitative business models and analyses to support proactive supply chain operation activities & priority projects.

Education & Experience:
  • First level university degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain function

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make, deliver)
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English
  • Strong internal and external relationship management skills
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory modelling and analysis
  • Strong leadership skills including team-building, conflict resolution and management
  • Proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong desire to grow, lead and give back to the business

Exposure:
  • Extensive interaction with all of the business functions (e.g. Logistics, Order Management, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Category, etc.) that drive HP's Consumer PC business
  • Opportunity for growth within the team (Execution lead, Product Line Lead, Major Account, etc.)
  • An opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment among talented and motivated individuals
  • Typically interacts with Directors.

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
