Location: Torrance, CA
CanQualify is an industry-leading compliance management company helping clients streamline contractor qualification, safety, and risk management processes. Recently acquired by Tang & Company, a family-owned organization with over 45 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Industrial sectors, CanQualify continues to grow its platform and service capabilities to better serve clients nationwide.
Position Overview
We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Supplier Success Agent to join our team full-time. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for our suppliersproviding exceptional support, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, and helping suppliers successfully navigate compliance requirements and the CanQualify platform.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable creating structure where needed. As CanQualify continues to grow, this role will play an important part in identifying process improvements, documenting best practices, and developing training resources to support both suppliers and internal teams.
Work Schedule
  • Full-Time, Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Pacific Time)
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for supplier inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Provide step-by-step assistance to suppliers navigating the CanQualify platform and compliance requirements.
  • Manage incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier interactions and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Compliance Specialists, and other departments to support supplier satisfaction and program success.
  • Educate supplier users about CanQualify's tools, features, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify recurring customer needs, pain points, and process gaps, providing recommendations to improve service delivery and the supplier experience.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, training materials, and other process documentation as business needs evolve.
  • Assist in creating and updating internal training resources to support team growth and consistency.
  • Take initiative in improving workflows, identifying efficiencies, and contributing to operational excellence.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand supplier engagement and adoption of CanQualify services.
Qualifications
  • 13 years of customer service, customer success, account support, or client-facing experience, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication skillsboth written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, or improving SOPs, process documentation, training materials, or knowledge base content is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment where processes and responsibilities may evolve.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software tools.
  • Experience in construction, energy, contractor management, or industrial compliance management is a plus.
