Job description

Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support manufacturing and engineering of medium/low-voltage power distribution, switchgear, and substation automation systems. This role ensures supplier compliance, drives quality improvements, and supports digital grid and electrification initiatives. You will collaborate with R&D, procurement, and operations to manage supplier performance, lead PPAP, and ensure high standards for electrical infrastructure and smart energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct supplier audits aligned with VDA 6.3 for electrical components and automation systems
  • Lead supplier qualification for switchgear, substation automation, and power distribution parts
  • Manage PPAP submissions ensuring compliance with electrical and manufacturing standards
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA) across suppliers
  • Drive root cause analysis using 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA for electrical/mechanical failures
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead CAPA, and improve reliability of energy systems
  • Support digitalization initiatives including integration with smart grid technologies
  • Handle non-conformities, supplier claims, and cost recovery processes
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing on grid modernization projects
  • Lead supplier development programs for continuous improvement and production efficiency

Qualifications:
