Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Supplement Department employee to join our team. This position will work closely with the Supplement Manager to ensure smooth operations in the supplements department, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including stocking the floor, answering customer questions, checking in freight, running backstock, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Additionally, the role involves providing support to other store functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers with supplement-related inquiries.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations and guidance on supplement products based on customer needs.
  • Ensureexcellentcustomer experience by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Stocking & Inventory Management:
  • Restock shelves and displays in the supplements department.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishing stock as needed.
  • Check freight and record any discrepancies in the order.
  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory and assist with backstock organization.
  • Freight & Backstock Management:
  • Unload and check in freight deliveries, ensuring all products are accounted for and stored properly.
  • Run backstock to designated storage areas and maintain organization of stockrooms.
  • Department Maintenance:
  • Ensure that the supplements department is always clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Assist in product displays and promotions as directed by the Supplement Manager.
  • Storewide Support:
  • Receive cross-training on various store employee duties to support other departments as needed.
  • Aid with storewide tasks such as stocking, customer assistance, and more.
  • Weekend & Evening Availability:
  • Work evenings and weekends to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for the supplements department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Knowledge or interest in supplements, health, and wellness is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, as much as 7 hrs. a day with brakes.
  • Ability to lift/stand or move up to 50 pounds.

We are currently looking for someone available for the following schedule:
Friday: 12:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM
The ideal candidate will have some flexibility with scheduling, as shift times may occasionally be adjusted within our operating hours of 9:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM.
There may also be opportunities for 1โ€“2 additional weekday afternoon/evening shifts, depending on business needs and the candidateโ€™s availability.
