A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test). If you do not meet any of these requirements or have not already taken the test you must do so prior to being employed.
