Sioux Falls Electric, located in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a skilled Underground Utility Lead to join our team. As an Underground Utility Lead at Sioux Falls Electric, you will have the opportunity to manage an underground crew and oversee on-site performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a crew of Underground Utility Installers.
  • Directional Boring, trenching, excavating, and hydrovaccing for installation of underground conduit.
  • Operating heavy equipment such as directional drill, locator, excavator, skid loader, and trencher
  • Installing conduit, cables, fiber, and other underground utilities
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of underground utility installation experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and other equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver's license (CLD preferred)
