• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, gathering pertinent medical histories, performing specific assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies clearly to both patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in the goal-setting process.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting to each patient’s unique presentation and progress, thus ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations as required, identifying and documenting changes in a patient’s condition that may necessitate adjustments to the treatment plan or referrals for additional medical/rehabilitation consultations.
• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that documentation is accurate and timely, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries summarizing the patient’s course of care.
• Demonstrate effective time management, meeting daily productivity expectations, maintaining an orderly schedule, and being punctual for all meetings and commitments.
• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of departmental goals and comply with all relevant government and accreditation standards.
• Seek out and participate in ongoing education for professional growth while also serving as a mentor and clinical instructor for student practitioners.
• Champion an outstanding patient experience by exhibiting flexibility and a positive approach to patient access and satisfaction initiatives.

We serve a varied clientele, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. Our personalized approach to rehabilitation is designed to empower each patient to achieve their optimal level of function and return to their daily lives with confidence.

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration.
• Proficiency in evaluating and treating diverse patient populations with varying conditions.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with patient populations that include orthopedic and neurological cases.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary teams and familiarity with rehabilitation technologies will be advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including:
