Job Description
Lancaster Inferno is seeking a creative digital video producer and editor for club content. The video production intern will be responsible for creating video content, including short videos for social media and marketing campaigns. Under the direction of the Brand Identity Strategist, interns will have the opportunity to develop ideas & storylines to promote the organization's initiatives & brand.
Highly desirable that applicant is available for all home games between May-mid July. A total of 12-14 games, including regular season and potential playoff games. Most games take place on the weekends, but other games may occur during the week.

This is an unpaid position in exchange for college credit and/or professional experience. If applicant is a resident of Pennsylvania, there may be an opportunity to apply for a paid internship via PA Career Link (must be qualified applicant - no guarantee for approval by their organization).
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to capture the emotions of sport, as well as the skill and athleticism involved
  • Produce pre-season promo videos
  • Attend all Home Games to capture content
  • Attend Practices (as needed/desired) to capture content
  • Attend additional team activities & media events (as needed)
  • Produce highlight reels (game previews, recaps, and individual player highlights)
  • Develop fun ideas to promote the teams through video alongside the Media team.
  • Prepare videos for sharing on social media platforms
  • Provide Live Broadcast of Games (depending on the focus of the desired internship)
  • On rotation with other team members, work some nights and weekends, creating post-match highlights for games.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, able to manage multiple projects at once, and work well with other members of the Inferno team.

Qualifications
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check. Attend and pass SafeSport training.
  • Experience with video production and editing, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and optimizing videos for social media (IG, FB, TikTok, and YouTube)
  • Ability to provide production assistance with livestream of home matches is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the team, sports, and women's soccer
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Founded in 2008, Lancaster Inferno fields a women's pre-professional soccer team that competes in the USL W League. The First Team roster is composed of players who want to pursue their professional aspirations and features current/post college players and former professionals.
The Inferno is committed to providing a complete pathway from youth to pre-professional soccer. In addition to the pre-professional team, Inferno fields U20/U23 women's teams during the summer months, and youth travel teams from the U9-U19 age groups year-round (Lancaster Inferno FC). Lancaster Inferno FC is the only all-girls travel soccer club in Pennsylvania that provides a player pathway from youth to pre-professional.
