The dedicated professionals at Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home.

The facility is looking for a Dietary Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Food Services Department. This includes providing nutritional and attractive meals for patients and facility employees, maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing of food and supplies as required, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and managing an effective Dietary staff.

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade or vocational school training preferred.
  • 4 years' experience in food service. Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets, and purchasing practices. Experience in a healthcare food service facility preferred.
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
  • Good organizational skills a must. Also, must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes and writing recipes, writing procedures and supervising a staff.
  • Physical Requirements: Good physical health and good mental attitude is essential. Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Tastes and smells food to determine quality. Reaches, lifts and carries relatively light material.
