Description
SunBelt Xpress is currently looking to hire full-time loaders for the 7 AM shift.
Guaranteed hourly training pay starting at $18.00.
Pay based on production after training. (Current production pay is averaging $25.00 per hour.)
$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS
Bonus with 1+year verifiable furniture loading/unloading experience and no unexcused absences within first 90 days.
$500 SIGN ON BONUS
Bonus at time of hire.
(Paid in 30, 60, 90 days)
SUMMARY
Safely loads and unloads stock from inbound trailers while using a scanner for inventory control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for loading and unloading trailers in an accurate, safe and timely manner.
  • Sort and place materials or items according to organizational standards.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computerized scanning system.
  • May assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping work stations neat.
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.
  • Proper use of hand truck, 4-wheel dolly and pallet jack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-200 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 200 lbs.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
    Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
    Dependable and reliable.
    Ability to use a scanner to facilitate inventory and quality control.
