Job description

An opportunity is available for experienced inpatient pharmacists to support a well-established hospital setting in Wisconsin. This 13-week contract position begins March 30 and offers a dynamic work schedule, including a rotation of day and evening shifts with weekend duties every third week. Candidates must be experienced travelers, equipped to relocate for the duration of the assignment.
Location: Sun Prairie, WI
Schedule:

  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
  • Mix of days (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and evenings (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)
  • Rotating every third weekend
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient pharmacy services with an emphasis on acute care management
  • Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments
  • Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and pharmacotherapy management
  • Manage drug shortages effectively within the care setting
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and clinical decision support
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (first-time travelers will not be considered)
  • Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license or ACT-10 licensing accepted
  • Familiarity with pharmacotherapy management and acute care practices
  • Ability to comply with facility mask-fit testing requirements (must be clean-shaven to ensure safety compliance)
Additional Information:
  • Scrubs provided onsite upon start
  • Only candidates willing to relocate beyond a 70-mile radius will be considered
  • Travelers must be able to accommodate non-billable orientation hours (12 hours)
