Job Summary:
SUN PHARMA is a leading pharmaceutical company seeking a Marketing Analyst to manage product operations and support the Generics Retail business. The role involves analyzing complex data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights for product forecasting and sales planning.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Analyze complex data of generic pharmaceutical product supplies, demand, customer demographics, and pricing to evaluate market dynamics
โ€ข Analyze internal and external environment, market and product level trends, customer behavior to product forecast for commercial products
โ€ข Analyze internal supply schedule vs forecast and ensure supply team is providing requested products on time and volumes to support the business; while being that conduit between Demand Planners and Sales team
โ€ข Provide input to supply chain for sales planning and lead product growth with sales team to drive business and achieve revenue, profit and market share goals
โ€ข Assist in development of sales budgets and forecasts through running IQVIA data
โ€ข Assist in the weekly inventory calls to lead marketing team action points and maintain a tracker for marketing team.
โ€ข Help manage portfolio of 200+ molecules, 500+ SKUs at customer level, product level forecasting, track new awards and manage wins and losses with pricing through SAP management tool
โ€ข Provide proactive and in-depth financial analysis of product current state of business and potential rationalization
โ€ข Create monthly sales IQVIA data analysis and SOP reports for sales team and senior management
โ€ข Monitor market share at product level based on competition, market share, pricing utilization, costs and work with sales team and pricing team to evaluate recommendations for forecast adjustments
โ€ข Assist preparation, deliver and present in PowerPoint and excel to summarize complex data analysis โ€“ Sun and competitorโ€™s market share, position, sales, and other key metrics โ€“ where Sun competes
โ€ข Work with internal stakeholders to researching new entrant on IQVIA, gather data from IQVIA, and prepare various data sources such as direct customer sales, indirect distributor sales, and other adjustments for purposes of forecasting, sales planning and budgeting
โ€ข Complete ad-hoc analyses and projects per Management's request. Review and address interdepartmental requests for product and marketing information
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข BS in business, marketing or related discipline
โ€ข 1-2 Years applicable work experience in marketing or analytics preferred
โ€ข Strong orientation to detail and ability to grasp new concepts
โ€ข Strong analytical skills
โ€ข Solid communication skills both verbal and written
โ€ข Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
โ€ข Strong organizational and prioritization skills in order to meet tight deadlines and work independently
โ€ข Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Preferred:
โ€ข 1-2 Years applicable work experience in marketing or analytics preferred
โ€ข Past pharmaceutical experience would be preferred
