Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a part-time Bakery Store Clerk to join our Collegedale Bakery Store team.

  • Opens and closes the store, records accurate records for daily sales; counts cash, makes a bank deposit; maintains adequate change on hand for the store register
  • Takes inventory and examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
  • Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise
  • Sets up advertising signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales
  • Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles; performs other housekeeping duties, including windows and restrooms

Required Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to and support of McKee Foods values, ethics, goals, and objectives
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least three months related experience and/or training
  • Possess a good overall work and safety record
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience
  • Knowledgeable with POS cash register systems
