Directors Secretary, Summit ESC

Supports Early Learning and Wellness Director

Full-time (260 days) with benefit package

Starting $36,292 - $37,853 depending on training and experience

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

  • High School Diploma; experience as a department-level secretary or administrative assistant for a minimum of 3 years is preferred
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Google Docs
  • Demonstrates ability to work accurately and efficiently with detailed work assignments and multiple tasks; understands rules of confidentiality and professional conduct
  • Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Provides secretarial support to the Early Learning and Student Services/Wellness departments; responsible for daily functions within the departments
  • Assists director with oversight of department budget; works with vendors to gather quotes; produces PO's for the Early Learning and Student Services/Wellness offices; coordinates payment with the treasurer's office; tracks expenditures
  • Coordinates event/meeting planning for the department; books rooms; communicates with event/meeting attendees
  • Prepare conference or event materials, such as flyers or invitations; uses Constant Contact
  • Assists with various planning committees as assigned
  • Responsible for the set up and cleanup of meeting rooms for department events/meetings
  • Other qualifications as determined by the Superintendent
  • All other duties as assigned

Salary schedule placement commensurate with training and experience.
