Weโ€™re looking for a Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to support our land development, energy amp; public infrastructure projects.

  • Conducts business development within the Denver Metro and mountain region which can include Grand County and/or Summit County.
  • Manages the work of other civil engineers and professionals in the execution of projects.
  • Participates in and executes contract negotiations for professional services.
  • Executes a successful project planning strategy.
  • Applies proper technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget with high quality and happy clients.
  • Understands the risk-reward relationship to optimize the financial impact of every change to the project, keeping clients up-to-date regularly.
  • Continually seeks opportunities for business development; cultivates new opportunities from existing clients and projects that results in repeat work.
  • Organizes and supports a successful project team with delegation matching individual strengths and professional development along the way.
  • Continuously provides feedback and mentorship to direct reports for continued growth; supports team professional development efforts.
  • Produces high quality work while enjoying a fast-paced work environment with great people!

The set of qualifications weโ€™re looking for:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer.
  • Exceptional client relationship management experience.
  • At least 8 yearsโ€™ of experience as a Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience leading a team of engineers to successfully execute projects.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of engineering planning, design and construction related to land development, public or renewable energy projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft suite programs.
  • Proficient in exercising control over the flow of work being accomplished, including the technical quality, budget, schedule, client satisfaction and financial results.
  • Ability to conceptualize the initial design approach for projects with the overall responsibility for the project design through completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while successfully communicating to all stakeholders including clients, internal staff, subcontractors, and review agencies.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges in a proactive manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can successfully manage a team of dynamic individuals; has the ability to lead various personality styles.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirement
  • The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional travel to Client facilities and project sites require ability to be physically mobile in the field and construction sites.

Salary Range: $110k-$150k (DOE)
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
