Business Process Analyst / Technical Writer - ARNG CSO-S/SGS
Location: Arlington, VA / Washington, DC area, including NGB, TARC, Pentagon, ANGRC, Joint Base Andrews, and authorized telework locations
Work Arrangement: On-site/hybrid as authorized; remote work is not permitted
Clearance: Secret required; Top Secret preferred
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary
Summit Technologies is seeking a Business Process Analyst / Technical Writer to support ARNG CSO-S/SGS process documentation, staff action guidance, training support, SOP updates, workflow improvement, and technical writing. The successful candidate will help improve the quality, consistency, and repeatability of ARNG staff action and executive communication processes.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze ARNG staff action processes and recommend improvements.
  • Write and update SOPs, desk guides, process maps, templates, training materials, and continuity products.
  • Support workflow manager meetings, staff action training, and user guidance.
  • Define data requirements, process measures, and reporting methods.
  • Support document repository organization and SharePoint content maintenance.
  • Coordinate with ARNG directorates, Action Officers, Workflow Managers, and Government leads.
  • Assist with implementation of updated procedures, tools, and staffing processes.
  • Support records, archive, and knowledge management requirements.
  • Translate policy and workflow requirements into clear user-facing guidance.
  • Maintain professional communications and protect sensitive information.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Public Administration, Technical Writing, Communications, English, Information Science, or related field.
  • Five to seven years of relevant experience in process analysis, technical writing, workflow documentation, SOP development, training support, or staff action support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical writing and process documentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CAC and Government system access.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting ARNG, Army, NGB, DoD, or headquarters staff organizations.
  • Experience with staff action control, correspondence standards, or executive secretariat functions.
  • Experience supporting training, process rollout, or workflow manager communities.
