POSITION VACANCY
POSITION: Warrior 4K Summer Club Aide
LOCATION: Hilltop Elementary
DATE OF POSTING: May 20, 2026
START DATE: June 8, 2026
HOURS: 3 hours/day, 2:30pm-5:30pm from June 8-August 14, 2026
RATE OF PAY: $19.34/hour
QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in First Aid and CPR required; must be maintained by obtaining recertification as necessary.
DESCRIPTION: The Warrior 4K Summer Club provides a safe environment for children who are completing 4-year-old Kindergarten this spring. Staff will support students with a play-based approach to learning with a focus on social and emotional competencies including: identify and manage emotions, develop social awareness, getting along with others and building relationships, and problem solving. These competencies are taught through whole group learning, small group activities, and teacher-supported play-based learning.
The aide will perform a wide variety of tasks to support students in the 4K Summer Club and will work closely with the Summer Club Coordinators. The aide will supervise and monitor the safety of children and lead activities for children to support academic and social emotional growth. This will include supporting health and personal habits such as eating, playing, and resting. This position will assist students during snack time, toileting, and supervise activities both indoors and outside. Aides will watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of the coordinators and parents. This position will be responsible for closing the classroom at the end of the day.
