Job Description

This is a Virtual Assistant position as an independent contractor. Paid time off and healthcare benefits are not provided.


The Virtual Assistant Recruiter will lead full-cycle hiring across the entire firm-including legal, operations, corporate functions, and contract roles (Virtual Assistants).

Schedule Requirements 

This role requires evening availability, with shifts extending until at least 10:00 PM EST, as well as consistent availability on Saturdays. These hours are necessary to effectively engage with high volumes of candidates who apply during peak times, including evenings and weekends. 

As a key contributor to our growth, this role requires a recruiter who consistently delivers high-quality candidates, effectively manages multiple pipelines, and thrives in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment with urgency and precision.

What You'll Do:  

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across all areas of the firm: attorneys, legal staff, operations, corporate teams, and Virtual Assistants  

  • Partner with hiring managers to align on hiring needs, priorities, and timelines  

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, Boolean search, and targeted outreach  

  • Apply structured screening and filtering criteria to efficiently evaluate large applicant volumes and prioritize top candidates  

  • Conduct recruiter screenings and present well-qualified candidates with clear summaries  

  • Build and maintain strong, active pipelines across multiple role types  

  • Own daily pipeline movement, ensuring no backlog and consistent candidate progression  

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and candidate communication from start to finish  

  • Ensure a seamless, professional candidate experience at every stage  

  • Leverage ATS and recruiting tools to manage workflows, track candidate activity, and support efficient hiring processes  

  • Track and manage recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates) to drive performance and decision-making  

  • Support early talent efforts, including law school outreach and intern pipelines 

  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (legal or professional services preferred)  

  • Experience with SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking System preferred 

  • This role requires availability to work evening hours, with shifts extending until at least 10:00 PM EST. Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays, to support high candidate volume during peak application times
  • Proven ability to source and hire across a wide range of roles, including attorneys, staff, and remote/contract talent  
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience building pipelines from scratch  

  • Experience working in high-volume or fast-scaling recruiting environments strongly preferred  

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required  

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities  

  • Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable operating with a high level of accountability
