What you'll be doing:
Our organization is looking for energetic, highly motivated and driven MBA or Master's program students who have an interest in financial services and the automotive industry. The 12-week GMSI program at our North American headquarters in Plano, TX offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with the world's largest automaker in Toyota and America's largest auto lender in TFS.
Placement opportunities may include, but are not limited to the following business units:
TFS Treasury, Debt & Capital Markets is responsible for meeting the capital funding needs of the company, managing our interest rate and foreign currency risk, managing cash and investment operations, and providing the support functions for these activities.
TFS Pricing & Originations Analytics is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that help inform pricing strategy, business performance, and decision-making across the organization. Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, we conduct pricing and profitability assessments, address key business questions, and drive improved outcomes.
TFS Remarketing Analytics is responsible for leveraging Remarketing analytics to drive fact-based decision-making within TFS. We add value by evaluating, explaining and executing on strategic business opportunities backed by data-driven insights.
TFS Risk Management is responsible for developing sound risk management practices, infrastructure, and strategy through insightful analytics and partnering closely with other departments and senior leadership throughout Toyota and TFS.
TFS Finance Products is responsible for collaborating with both Toyota and Lexus Sales and Marketing Divisions to develop new and used car incentive programs to grow TFS market-share and profitability. In addition, Finance Products administers TFS's incentive programs and maintains the systems that deliver pricing to the dealerships.
Our Graduate Management Summer Interns are the main feeder for our full-time Graduate Management Team Members (GMTM), a 2-year rotational leadership development program.
What you bring:
  • Completed the first year of an MBA or Master's program by Summer 2027
  • Completed 2+ consecutive years of relevant work experience before MBA or Master's program
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities to develop proposals for evolving business unit challenges
  • Self-starter with project management experience including proven ability to scope and deliver projects timely
  • An interest in the automotive industry, particularly in Toyota, is a strong plus
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting analytical data to influence decision-making for a variety of audiences
