As an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027, your responsibility will be to work alongside Oshkosh Electrical Integration & V&V (Verification and Validation) Engineers, assisting with projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering, all while making a tangible impact on the world around you.

YOUR IMPACT

As an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern your experience may include:

  • Support Electrical and Software Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development
  • Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance
  • Learn vehicle troubleshooting and effective documentation skills
  • Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems
  • Learn and execute test cases to validate functionality, performance, and safety-critical behavior of embedded systems.
  • Learn and verify communication across CAN, LIN, and Ethernet networks using tools like Vector CANoe, DET, CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA.
  • Log, document, and triage software defects, collaborating with developers and system engineers for resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
  • Willing to travelor relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
