Job description

UNM-Valencia is accepting applications for a temporarypart-time faculty member to teach Geology courses at the 1000-2000 collegelevel in the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and/or Spring 2027 semester(s). Positionsare contingent upon the need of each semester as determined by studentenrollment levels and current course offerings. 
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque inrural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is atwo-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico which functions as acommunity college in the region and is designated a Hispanic ServingInstitution.  With an emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campusoffers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education, andDual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties.  Thefaculty and staff serve a student body of over 2,000 students per semester.
