Job description

As an instructor at Engineering for Kids, you will have an opportunity to inspire kids in the coolest hands-on and technology programs around. From 3-D printing, Robotics, Drone Aviation, Virtual Reality and everything in between, your job is to inspire kids to work creatively and collaboratively to solve a variety of challenges presented to them. Engineering for Kids camps are hands on, student led and teacher assisted. No boring lecturing here, just collaboration and fun! We are hiring for multiple positions, valley wide.

Many of our instructors are Primary/Secondary School Teachers, Substitute Teachers and college students majoring in STEM or educational fields. This is a great opportunity to add STEM teaching skills and add supplementary income when school is out. We are currently looking for passionate people to join our team for our upcoming spring break camps in March and summer programs. The position is Full Time when camps are in. Full-Time employment over the summer.

STEM Coach

As an Engineering for Kids Instructor, it will be your responsibility to inspire your students while delivering engaging content to them. You will be trained on the Engineering for Kids curriculum and given all the tools and materials needed to provide personalized instruction.

Your specific duties will include:

- Teaching the Engineering for Kids programs

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the classes, control inventory, build objects in curriculum while managing assistant teachers and classroom environment

- Developing rapport with students and establishing a fun learning environment

- Communicating student needs to the Program Manager

- Maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching our curriculum

- Providing a safe environment for kids by following all facility processes and procedures.
