Your role at Clorox:

This role reports to the Network Materials Manager or MSM Lead and will work with: Production Scheduling, IBP Team, EM Team, Plant Leadership. This role coordinates the supply of specific materials across the BU network (including materials for unbundled EMs), managing inventory and purchase orders to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for planning product families across the network and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained. Communicate with the Planning and EMs teams any materials risks for EMs and follow up actions items.
  • Collaborate with BU Network Schedulers to align material requirements with production schedules. Collaborate with EMs (DHL&Pacon) to align material requirements with production schedules.
  • Reviews network raw/pack demand and develops a plan that aligns with BU inventory and service goals. Weekly review of materials shortage reports long term and short term for both raw and HalBs.
  • Issue purchase orders for network material needs and work with vendors on move in/out strategies based on inventory and production needs. Review ARIBA deviations for all raw materials for DHL& PACON. Be the one point of contact regarding materials request towards to the EM. Be the point of prioritization/ escalation with suppliers for raws and the plant. Missing ASNs.
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. Reviews safety stock and parameters for all unbundled materials
  • Provide input on material availability and lead times for production planning purposes. Identify materials risks for unbundled EMs and communicate to the EMs.

  • 2plus years in materials planning roles
  • 3 plus years of work experience in scheduling and materials planning roles (desired)
  • Able to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, and formulate next steps
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communicator
  • Experience using Advanced Planning software tools such as SAP ECC, BW, and Rapid Response.
  • Experienced in setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the functions and levels
  • Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root causes identification, and problem solving
