IMMEDIATE HIRING – Softball Pitching Instructor / Coach


Join the Triangle's Premier Baseball & Softball Training Facility


Diamond & Aces Sports Center is one of the Triangle's fastest-growing baseball and softball training facilities, serving athletes from beginner to collegiate levels. Our mission is simple: develop confident athletes, exceptional teammates, and successful players through high-quality instruction.


Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are hiring immediately for an experienced Softball Pitching Instructor to join our coaching staff.

Position Overview

As a Softball Pitching Instructor, you will provide high-quality instruction through private lessons, small group training, clinics, camps, and specialty programs. You'll help athletes develop sound mechanics, increase velocity and consistency, build confidence, and prepare for success at every level of the game.

This position offers the opportunity to become an integral member of one of the area's most respected coaching staffs while working in a positive, energetic, and professional environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide private and small-group softball pitching instruction for athletes ages 6-18
  • Coach pitchers of varying experience levels, from beginners to advanced travel and high school athletes
  • Teach proper pitching mechanics, grips, spins, body movement, arm care, and game strategy
  • Create individualized development plans based on each athlete's goals
  • Monitor player progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Lead clinics, camps, and specialty pitching programs
  • Build confidence while creating a fun, challenging learning environment
  • Promote sportsmanship, discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic
  • Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
  • Maintain a safe and organized training environment


Qualifications

  • College playing experience or collegiate/professional coaching experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of softball pitching mechanics and athlete development
  • Ability to communicate effectively with athletes of all ages and skill levels
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes
  • Positive attitude with high energy and professionalism
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Experience with travel softball is a plus


Availability

Candidates should have availability for some combination of:

  • Weekday mornings (summer camps)
  • Weekday afternoons (clinics and programs)
  • Weekday evenings (private lessons)
  • Occasional weekends


Flexible scheduling is available based on availability and demand.
