Job Summary
The position is only open to current COMPUTER SCIENCE graduate majors.
The Graduate Administrative Assistant position for the ESL Computer Lab is responsible for running the computer lab, lab printer, and all ESL classroom computers; maintaining computers with up-to-date software; diagnosing and correcting software issues; proctoring the ESL Placement test; keeping the lab and all equipment clean; helping students with computer lab needs; and other duties as assigned.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DURING THE SUMMER.
Please note: Student positions are FICA/Medicare exempt only if students are enrolled in classes in the semester the work is performed. To qualify for the FICA/Medicare exemption, you must be enrolled on a half-time basis for the Fall, Spring, or Summer.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must be a current Troy University COMPUTER SCIENCE graduate student
2. Extensive knowledge of programming, troubleshooting, and security
3. Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
4. At least one full year left of college coursework
