General Summary

This position is for Part-Time Lecturers for the ME, MET, EECE, CIVE, CEET, and PDET programs in the School of Engineering for Summer/Fall 2026.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching may include a number of particular obligations that employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to in-person meetings with students, assessing student work and performance, assessment as required for ABET accreditation, preparing syllabus and course materials, providing copies of syllabus and course materials to their supervisor on request and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules and policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in ME, MET, EECE, CEET, CIVE, or PDET or in a related discipline in the School of Engineering. 
2. College-level teaching experience and industrial experience.
