CRNA opening for the 24hr team with a busy practice in northern New Jersey with Overlook Medical Center—known for its centers of excellence. Work 73, 24hr shifts per year!

Overlook Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital in Summit, NJ, that offers a wide array of advanced services, including neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. This site features a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through its Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. Also on campus is The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center, where medical experts are performing the most brain tumor surgeries in New Jersey.

Case Assignments:

Cases are inclusive of a full CRNA scope of practice. Furthermore, CRNAs are a part of the L&D team, placing spinals and epidurals.

Shifts: 73, 24 hour shifts per year

Requirements:

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements:

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
